Lemon juice – 2 tbsp

Ingredients – for the cinnamon cream

  1. Rub the lemon juice on the chopped apples so that they do not turn black. Keep aside.
  2. Grease an eight-inch baking dish and keep aside.
  3. Mix together all the ingredients of the crumble to give a crumbled look. Keep aside
  4. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and sieve twice.
  5. Beat the butter and sugar till the sugar dissolves completely.
  6. Add the flour mixture one spoon at a time and fold well.
  7. Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
  8. Mix in the chopped apples.
  9. Pour this mixture into the greased baking dish.
  10. Spread the crumble mixture on top.
  11. Bake for 45 min at 180 degrees.
