Sailesh is a contemporary impressionist Indian artist who creates amazing optical illusions using humans and body paints to depict animals and insects. In fact, he is the first artist in India who has showcased illusion body art. He is well known for his ground breaking work in the realm of body painting and body art. Rather than a static canvas, Sailesh transfers his art onto live models, which enhances the connectivity between the artist, person and art-form.
Sailesh is the proud recipient of the Gold award in National Level ART Competition, 2020 and received several accolades from eminent press too.
Sailesh is also fond of writing and photography and is also associated with different societal exercises and organisations. Based in Dhatrigram, a small town in Burdwan he gains much of his inspiration from nature. His fascination with people of various cultures allows his ingenuity to flourish.
