Ramakrishna was born in 1976 in a small village in Rambhadrapuram, Andhra Pradesh. It was a scenic area with greenery and lush vegetation all around.
Growing up, he was influenced by eminent artist Laxma Goud and other contemporary artists of his time. Rama graduated a Master’s degree from JNFAU (Hyderabad) College. The metro city life, with its rapid changes, motivated him to paint ‘City Scapes’. By visiting other cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai, he noticed similarities, sparking off numerous questions. All of these have culminated in these expressions through art.
Ramakrishna’s works were recently showcased by Divine Art Gallery at the World Art Dubai 2020 and his painting was selected as the best painting in the exhibition.
