The 2021 Calendar: Cosmic Flowers

The 2021 Calendar: Cosmic Flowers

My obsession with flowers has transformed the aesthetics of my art and design. Since childhood I have been fascinated by their fragrance and appearance. Having grown up in Santiniketan, I saw flowers being used for all purposes; as an offering in prayers, for making jewellery, greeting cards, dyeing clothes and many more.

Over time, I learnt to paint and thus was born this desire to create a floral calendar. My 2021 Cosmic Flowers Calendar ties together natural flowers within the cosmic universe; grand concepts that are abstract and tangible for us.

It is a great feeling when new or challenging work gets done, but its success is best relished only when shared with friends. I pray that each month brings forth new joys, new set of goals, new achievements and the fulfilling of aspirations in everyone’s lives.

All these paintings are painted on pure silk fabric and then printed on non-coated textured paper.

Size: 11 by 19 inches.

Details: 13 pages with spiral binding.

Price: INR700 plus shipping.
