Sailesh is a contemporary impressionist Indian artist. His brush strokes portray the ebb and flow of existence. Besides painting, Sailesh has associated himself with creative writing and photography. Some of his works uphold the fantasy and dark imagery which is inspired by the urban milieu – it’s squalor and susceptibility.
Sailesh is also fond of writing and photography and is also associated with different societal exercises and organisations. Based in Dhatrigram, a small town in Burdwan he gains much of his inspiration from nature. His fascination with people of various cultures allows his ingenuity to flourish. Sailesh is the proud recipient of the Gold award in National Level ART Competition, 2020.
